I work from home, decided to change from sky to vodaphone...big mistake. Only get decent internet in the kitchen, anywhere else it is terrible, I need to be on video chat for work, this constantly fails. If two people try to be on the internet, then got no chance.

Rang customer service and all they said was to buy a WiFi booster and that they couldn't help me any other way

poor customer service, ridged and frustrating processes, unable to escalate issues in a timely manner, do not call back as promised, terrible service when something goes wrong, good speeds when it works but if only it worked!

Vodafone Broadband = Cheap & Nasty:
    1) Can't get full wi-fi coverage in a 2-bed flat
    2) When do get signal, it will randomly cut out for no apparent reason
    3) Lost broadband for 5+ days, no compo
Was previously a customer of Talk talk for 5 years, never had an issue.
Pay a bit more for another provider.

Have had broadband with sky, BT and Vodafone. Had a longstanding issue with poor connection across all providers and Vodafone were the only provider who found the issue and resolved it quickly and efficiently. Great service great speed and the router is good too

For nearly 3 weeks now our internet connectivity has consistently dropped. I couldn't submit a complaint on their online form because it required the user to enter a mobile number (so they could identify the a/c) but we don't have a vodaphone mobile number, just a landline.

I did an online chat and a member of staff called me, asking to unplug etc. Eventually I was told an engineer should come out so we arrange for the Friday. When the call was ended I realised no-one could be at the premises for the engineer so I went online chat and made arrangements for the following Monday.

An engineer still turned up on the Friday and it was sheer coincedence that a family member came home.

The engineer indicated it was the telephone call blocker that was the problem.

The problem continued so I detached the call blocker (which had never appeared to have been a problem for the last 6 years) but the problem continues.

It is now at the point where the connectivity is so unreliable as it is constantly cutting out.

I would stress to anyone considering using Vodaphone that no matter how good the offer may appear, DO NOT USE THEM!

Avoid vodafone broadband. If you have had a good experience you are extremely lucky. Claim tobe all uk based customer services.
I have spoken to iftaqar mustaffa and habib so far and they were all very ignorant.

Do not consider Vodafone if you need business support. I tried to buy a business broadband and landline package but the engineers did not come on the confirmed date to install it. After repeated calls I was told days later that the engineers had reported a problem with the installation before the installation date, but Vodafone had not passed on this information to me or attempted to reschedule the appointment. All this took a long time to sort out because calls to customer services have to go via home broadband support and incur long delays on hold while they put you though to a business support agent. I was told there is not a direct line phone number for business support. After a great deal of wasted time I have cancelled the contract.

right from the start they were awful i was locked out due to confusion over username etc i was on the fone or e-mail for 4 hours to change details i was still locked out as the customer service advisor put wrong addres in complained on website was called back by john from the directors office who again assured me he could sort out we made an appointment to call on the Monday morning he didn't call until 2pm when i mentioned it he said he was busy (i didnt have anything else to do like work ) but if that is the standard of the service i am not surprised he is busy the only thing he got right was cancelling my subscription and getting me a returns bag for equipment . gave 1 star because impossible to give none .

If you have a Vodafone mobile your experience will be great, if you have broadband then don't expect to even be treated with respect. I have been a broadband customer for over 10yrs never had anything to complain about, but they do say you only know how good a company is when you have a problem...

Their call centre is in India the broadband customer service personnel are rude, disrespectful & very unhelpful. I have been experiencing problems with the broadband app & my router for the last week.

Called India several times to try & fix the issue all they did was reset the router three times, then they tell me to manually reset lol, did that guess what that did not work either, they promised call back after call back, never received a single call back.

The staff at the call centre just don't care no empathy for any problems your experiencing, they are abrupt, rude & they even put the phone down on me twice. Am totally done with Vodafone broadband have been charged £30 a month for 64-70Mbs, have now moved to Sky & I am getting 104Mbs for £24 per month... You work out the mathematics...

I even recommended several friends to Vodafone broadband over the years, I have told them all what I have experienced just incase they have problems. Today was the first time I got to speak with someone who I could understand without asking them to repeat what they said half a dozen times!

I actually spoke to someone in England today hurrah!!! But only to tell them I was leaving Vodafone because of the treatment I have experienced by their staff in India who don't care about anything or anyone!

Such a shame Vodafone broadband was reliable in 10yrs I only had three dropouts of my broadband, but when you do have a problem it's enough to make you want to leave. Days spent wasting your time talking to people on the other side of the planet that are just rude, make false promises then put the phone down on you.

I got sent text messages asking how I would rate the service I received from their India call centre, tried to reply several times guess what the messages would not even send lol, so no matter what you rate their staff at no one will find out as you can't send any feedback, sounds like a good scam to me!

Sorry Vodafone but you will keep losing longstanding customers like myself if you keep paying staff that don't care & have no interest in helping you beyond resetting your router. Thanks for the years of service the staff in England are impeccable, it's the other side of the world that lets you down.

Now with Sky (again) I left Sky to move to Vodafone 10yrs ago, but Sky are offering much faster broadband at a much cheaper price, at this point where every penny counts it's a no brainer for me!

    Bye...

Broadband randomly drops when not in constant use and speed is variable at best. The issue for me is that they have just doubled the cost of my broadband with no notification other than sending me the new bill. Apparently, I went out of contract four months ago and no one thought to mention it, so they have the freedom to charge me what they think fit. Customer support were pleasant but couldn’t do anything beyond refunding the increase this month. This isn’t the first time they have done this.

Changed to Vodafone from SKY and its the worst mistake I ever made. They claim 35mbps which I get during the day however weekends and after 6pm I get speeds under4mbps. Useless to stream anything, countless calls to support being told to go through the same process time after time. Their system can't cope when it's busy at night, absolute pathetic service. £156 early cancellation fee which BT will pay if I move to them so I am moving tomorrow. Do not under any circumstances sign up for this service £21 per month is cheap and you pay for what you get. Just a total disaster from day 1.

I cannot believe I was foolish enough to believe that this amateurish home broadband service provider could provide the same or better service than BT.. I regret the day I signed up for this diabolical service. With BT I was getting anything between 38 & 52 Mbps for the whole year. With Vodafone I receive anything between 40 and 0.42 Mbps ..... yes 0.42 Mbps! The majority of the time it is between 26 and 12 Mbps! At the time of writing this review it is constantly under 1 Mbps! When we started with Vodafone in Sept 2016 we were receiving 50 Mbps then, about a month later it reduced to anything between 38 and 20 Mbps. It has gradually reduced over the months (now March 2017) to its current speed of under 1 Mbps. I have contacted Vodafone technical support who are blaming my set-up at home for the diabolical speeds. If this was the case, how was it that I was receiving 50mbps for around a month when I first started the agreement and the 'set-up' I have now hasn't changed from the outset. Also, why was I, with BT, receiving between 38 and 52 Mbps with the same 'set-up'? Let's face it Vodafone, you are going back to the same attitude you had with your mobile phone customers in the 'noughties' i.e. You're are with us now.... tough! If you are thinking about joining Vodafone home broadband I really wouldn't bother if I were you.... go for another provider and pay for the line rental...... it will be with it in the long-run.

I test when response is slow, often down to 10-12Mbps although the Vodafone app says all is well at 40. They say they will compensate for reduced speed but how do I prove it? The online help is a good contact point via the customer account page.

Made the mistake of changing Internet provider from BT to Vodafone since then no or poor connections in certain locations around property ,there great at selling you the product English speaking sales team but when complaining you are transfered to a India call centre lucky if you can understand them, their resolution to solve the problem is for me to buy wifi boosters to make there equipment work properly as they will not provide them unless I upgrade to there Pro plan which by the way is not available in my location GREAT I have been miss sold a product by Vodafone.
Never never use this company terrible service

Don't waste your time. I went through 2 online advisors, checking the package I was to order, referencing with the postcode etc. only for the payment to be refused. A 30 minute phone call later I'm told they couldn't even provide internet to my area, and it's my fault for not checking first - despite the back and forth via online chat. And apparently, it's also partly my fault for not realising that the link from a price comparison website does not take you to Vodafone's site, but a 3rd party site... Better off spending your money elsewhere.

I have been stuck in 2 year deal with Vodafone and has been rubbish pretty much from the beginning. I missed to 30 day cancellation date much to my regret.
Customer service has been pitiful and frustrating (over 4hrs on numerous phone calls to convince them that I needed a new router at one point).
Speed currently 26mb and paying for over 57mb but can't be bothered to call them and suffer more frustration.
Quite often we use mobile data on phone than suffer the slow speed.
Only good news is that contract finishes soon.
My advice is to steer clear of vodafone.

Where to start with VF - Price is alright (Started at around £25 and later got discounted to £22.50 for the remainder of the contract)

Connection performance and reliability: Probably the worst I've ever experienced from an FTTC provider. They seem forever obsessed with locating a non-existent line or local issue, despite all evidence pointing to some kind of throttling or QoS on their network.

For reference, Originally quoted as a 66 meg down connection, later discounted after getting sub 40Mbps speeds, and then suffered under throttled 2mbps connection speeds during peak network usage toward the end of the term. I now get a consistent 60-70Mbps through EE with zero downtime or issues.

Don't believe their "Sync Rate" bull - it's VF's way of trying to pin any performance issues on a local issue.

Use any other ISP at this point. EE or Sky. Anyone else. Don't go near these clowns.

This single star may, to some, appear a bit harsh; but I can guarantee these people have ever been foolish enough to use this company for broadband. When we first started using Vodafone as a broadband provider we were getting approximately the speed they had agreed to provide us with. Then after about 6-8 weeks we started to get very poor broadband speeds (between 0.4 to 20 odd Mbps. The 20 Mbps may sound pretty good to some of you, but we signed up for 38 Mbps! I have contacted their technical support (a bit of a joke as by definition 'support' would imply some sort of assistance!) and they blamed the low speeds on our setup at home. This 'setup' they refer to is the same setup we had when we were with BT, only they gave us almost 50 Mbps! We also get regular drop-outs of service (a few times per day). All-in-all if you are thinking of saving a few quid every month by going with Vodafone, I would think again. Because the savings would not be worth the infuriating hassle this incompetent company provides!

After upgrading my broadband speed, I discovered that they had handled the change by giving me a new number and charging me for two lines. I then spent 68 minutes talking to customer service. The first person thought my number (01455.....) was a mobile number! They cannot do anything for a week and after a week has elapsed they expected me to contact them again. No doubt to repeat the previous miserable 68 minute experience. So currently, no one can call me since my original number has been discontinued. They later suggested that I report the problems via Facebook. Again a complete waste of time.

Worst consumer experience I have ever had.. Vodafone wi fi is rubbish without using wi fi extender. Vodafone now blocked my exstender from working via router update to get me to upgrade to Pro package that has there own WiFi exstender.. This is just wrong that Vodafone can get away with this. Complaints will not do anything about this... They all have different views on this and basically say nothing they will do or even try you will just be passed around from one person to another . Upgrade or no wi fi...(BE WARNED) 6weeks and over 30 hours on the phone to Vodafone... If you want good advice I would take it from someone that has had experience with them., AVOID AT ALL COSTS,,,

DO NOT ! Get Vodafone Broadband..
I’ve had Broadband from many providers over many years and this is the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve been waiting 5 days to be connected and it’s still not happened after 6 phone calls to there technical departments, They keep blaming open reach but it’s purely down to them being able to organise a simple task that was supposed to happen 5 days ago and keep getting told to wait another 24 hours. Stay away from Vodafone and go to a more reliable provider like BT or TalkTalk.

Do NOT under any circumstances buy broadband from Vodafone EVER. To my mind, they are a fraudulent organisation that does not operate honestly. There’s a reason they come at the BOTTOM of every customer satisfaction survey.

Do NOT be seduced by any “deals” as these are illusory and it will take you YEARS to fix and problems. Just walk away immediately. Vodafone are woefully ill equipped to deal with even the SLIGHTEST issue. Call center staff are naturally useless, but all the head office staff are illiterate idiots also. You won’t get a simple answer out of ANY of them. The culture at Vodafone is very much one of “lie, deny, and do nothing” which is something that as a paying customer you can do without. That comes from the top down. The CEO is an absolute joke and their “executive relations” team may as well be a bunch of interns for all the good they are.

PLEASE do not use Vodafone but literally any other phone or broadband provider. You have been warned. I can provide details and correspondence to back up everything I say. Keep away. Dealing with Vodafone can seriously damage your health.

After the price crept up by 30% I decided to cancel this service. A month later and daily arguments with support staff it still has not been cancelled and they still keep trying to bill me.
Vodafone is a scam, do not go with this company.
The broadband itself was OK. Occasionally it would cut out for a few minutes or speeds would drop to a third of what they should be. Mostly it was fine.
    Avoid

i made an order for broadband and decided to cancel same day , they refused to send any confirmation , live chat confirmed it was canceled same day and nothing to pay , as time went on they kept sending me emails stating what day it would start what my bill was etc

5 weeks on i get a bill , call up and complain , they say its sorted nothing to pay , same day more phone messages and email me another bill

total shambles of customer service , never again , wouldnt reccomend to anyone its simply not possible to resolve an issue with these people

Joined Vodafone a few years ago with their super fast 2 service and am now experiencing diabolically slow lin speeds has low as 9mbps. Told to test in safe mode.no difference. Told to use lan connection. No difference. Been contacted three times. Repeat above three times. I want out and fed up with being treated as a liar. Will complain to Ofcom.

Ignored the reviews as most with good or better service don't bother leaving reviews so switched just before Christmas and I'm getting the same experience as I was for BT. Gone for fiber 36 as standard broadband is too slow but that's the same for BT. and any other provider and all For £10 a month cheaper. Handy app is great for disabling connections to stroppy teenagers who decide to play games till the small hours. Bill is paired with the mobile bill. But so far happy

im moving again because of slow speed. The misconception that is going around it is the isp to blame for slow speed. It is the line to you're house that is the problem. You may be on 50 year copper that is not fit for purpose be connected other homes via a junction serving homes as well. This was my problem Openreach had to replace all cabling to the house including the underground cable to the cabinet. Result no change whatsoever. BT and Openreach claims of up to 76 Mbps are exaggerated and the companies that supply broadband have a sold a lot of nonsense. Time to force BT to uprade its infrastructure it is not fit for modern fibre use.

After using comparison websites went for Vodaphone. Contract then arrived showing a higher monthly payment than quoted, plus an immediate increase of CPI plus 3.9%! Cancelled immediately. Suggest you read any contract from Vodafone carefully.

Absolutely the worst broadband you can ever consider getting. Keeps dropping, speeds are inconsistent, so much so that even smart speakers give up and loose the connection. Forget streaming, if you can open a website over a supposed 200 MBps line, you are lucky. It is like throwing money down the drain.
