called TalkTalk in May 2020 to report a faulty wall socket their team in Manilla who I could barley understand told me it was up to me to contact BT and pay for replacement /repair, called again still in May and they promised me a call back in 24 hrs from a manager now we are in November and still nothing.last time I spoke to them they put the phone down on me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I've been with talk talk for almost two years. It is one of the most worst experience of my life!!!!!! I had 5 time internet disconnected for several days each time in these months without a communication. The staff is terrible don't know how to communicate with who is suffering form a service that is not being provided. The website shows no problem but the reality is different. They said it's not our fault it's openrich problem but we dont know who is this company because i pay to talktalk. During the national lockdown we were left behind without Internet for more then one week and this time they are still doing the same game. Most importantly i had to join in zoom meeting from the computer but wasn't able. And I got two small kids and seeing suffering them was the morst feeling ever.!!!!!!!very very very very bad service!!!!!!

My mother died in May. I used the Tell Us Once Service and I notified the bank. My brother still lived in the house and said he would inform TalkTalk. He forgot, he was grieving and going through the pandemic. In October we receive demands to pay £200+ from a debt collection agency. TalkTalk never wrote to us or my mother to question why the direct debit was cancelled but they kept the account open and running into debt until September.
When I contacted them, they informed me that relatives of the account holder did not have to pay but they would pursue my mother's estate because it was her debt. My mother could not have paid because she died!

Absolutely disgusting.

Absolutely shocking product delivery and customer service I have ever received in my whole life!
Months of complaints and stress and never getting promised speeds. When I finally decided to move provider, they put me through hours of call centres all over the world with delay tactics and not allowing me to leave the contract without paying penalty fees.
The most unfair and fraudulent company.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TALK TALK.

I thought TalkTalk were a terrible company when the leaked everybodys details a few years back but now they've decided to traffic shape my broadband connection and cripple it during a global pandemic where I have to work from home I can't wait to leave them next month.

Spend 6 months on trying to find out why I can't work from home. I had to put formal complain on Ofcom. Customer service shocking and without the knowledge to help. No care for your situation either. Any scheduled calls did not happened. So 1 out of 10 actually happened on time. Chief office of complaint - even worst - spoke with woman who gave me attitude and help with nothing and calling when not schedule. Just so poor and will be looking to switch.

Had issues with this service since the day 1! They sent me a broken router and said that it should work nevertheless! After trying to contact them for ages they decided to send me a new one which didn’t work! (yet again). Engineer had to come and fix this issue and we were promised a compensation for our troubles which we never received and we paid for not having any internet connection for a full price (never discounted). It was working fine for a month and the we started having issues since September, after trying to contact them through the live chat for ages, we were told that the internet line was faulty and we need an engineer but we shouldn’t worry as when contacting them again they will already know the issue and we won’t need to go through it all again. However, the live chat didn’t work and we couldn’t contact them for a few days. Finally, after reaching out to them they said there is nothing they can do at the moment as they are experiencing issues themselves, try to contact them in few hours. Which we did, but they didn’t respond. Today I managed to reach them: the first person i talked to said that the issue is the placement of our router and i kept saying that last time we spoke i was told we needed an engineer, he kept disagreeing until i said that i want to talk to somebody else. After 2 hours of conversation I managed to get an engineer booked for tomorrow, but they do not care about stress I had to go through just to fix the internet. They are not prepared to help others with the issues especially during pandemic when the internet is needed more then ever! Would never recommend this company!

If I could rate 0 i would. I use my data on my phone 90% of the time I'm home cus talk talk doesn't work at all, we r now paying over 50 a month for Internet speeds of up to 6mbps when we should be at a garuntee of over 20 at least, I cant even watch Netflix cus of how bad the Internet is and no one would even help us at talktalk
