I just moved to a new apartment(allegro living) that gave us a choice of 6 wifis and I believe picking v fast was the biggest mistake I made. We pay for 100mb download speed but the highest we've ever gotten was 41(once) and most times its lower than 13mb. Currently the internet speed is 999kb. When you call V fast, they keep on giving excuses about the amount of wi fi channels and the number of people in the building. I know for a fact my building is currently at 40% capacity, so its as full as it can be. There was a particular day I called 5 times to sort out the connectivity issue and nothing changed. I then asked to change my current plan, as the company cannot provide the service I was paying for. The answer was no because in the contract it states that they allowed to supply you less wi fi than you paid for.Which is a bit baffling as the I do not see the point in charging people 40 pound for a 100mb, when everyone is going to get less than 25mb( which is 23 pound plan).

The high speed broadband is excellent, but the VOI telephony is terrible quality - avoid.

A few years ago they were the best: no landline needed (all our phones went VOIP), faster than ADSL, reasonable charges, excellent support. Now FTTC (VDSL) is faster and cheaper and lower latency and unlimited and a free landline number too, so it's farewell VFast... and then they tell me about the 30-day cancellation period (i.e. we pay them an extra month for nothing). I thought PlusNet was bad 'cos it charged a cancellation fee even outside the contract period, I thought vFast was better... but it's the same charge with a different name. :-(

Sarre Vfast Internet  
Vfast's wireless service makes dial-up look fast. Don't expect to be able to do anything normal with your connection during the daytime as throughput grinds to a halt (yes throughput not the connection speed). Forget YouTube, IPlayer (catch-up TV) or online gaming, even general web browsing crawls. This has been the norm for years, yes years, as the wireless services are left to rot. If you are unfortunate to be out in the sticks with little alternatives, I still wouldn't recommend Vfast.
Don't bother to complain to Vfast about any wireless issues as they will just tell you where to go.
