After many years of having no landline broadband in the area that we live, our address has finally been connected. We now have a contract with EE. The process was very painful to switch both the phone and internet but when it was finally sorted we have fantastic broadband. We have come into the 21st century and can get all those normal things like youtube and Facebook!!
As far as the EE customer service goes, if was so frustrating because nobody ever did what they said they would. Eventually I spoke to someone who took responsibility and sorted my problem, and so we got there and are verg happy with what we have.

They extend my contract without my permission. And now they try to charge me for leaving them. Also there are constant problems with connection to the internet, especially in evnings. If you gamer or work from home I strongly recomend you to stay away from this crap.
Btw. 1 star is too much for them

Set up business account with business account manager then received details of domestic broadband. Still fighting now nearly a year later. Also set up mobile package but worse signal I've ever had, often no signal. Was told we are in a black spot so signal not great but they checked my postcode when I signed up. Doesn't matter where I am in the county, signal always dropping in and out. I wish I'd never changed to EE and would never recommend them.

TerriIble service all round. Fobbed off by customer services when you can finally get through to someone, usual hold time about an hour. Billed incorrectly and despite being assured before I agreed to switch that my broadband changeover would happen within hours I ended up being without broadband for 11 days. Would not recommend.

Is the worst seevice ever. I had problems all the time! The connection was dropping at every 5 minutes. I used to call them at every 3 weeks and they were sending me engineer. And i asked them to cancel my contract and they took me again money for another month of no service. Awful!

Avoid completely!!! I set up the account and contacted them on 3 or 4 occasions to check progress and to ensure no loss of service as I work from home. They reassured me that there would be no loss of service, then it went to one day, then after the phone line was installed have found out that they have not even placed the broadband order and they blamed my existing provider. Knowing a bit about the technical details, this is not possible and BT confirmed they never requested broadband was installed!!! Have advised that I would be without service for 3 weeks!

Really surprised by all the negative comments here. I changed from BT to EE Fibre 38mb 6 months ago. The change was smooth and every time I have run a speed test, it is between 37 & 39mb and has never dropped out! The free data boost to my mobile phone is brilliant, especially as I am on a cheap SIM only deal. Very impressed with EE and a considerable saving on what BT charged.

DO NOT GO WITH EE!!!!!
We use our 3g or 4g from mobiles as two routers make no difference, engineer useless, customer services generally poor. Favourite phrase from phone engineer "Is there a wall in the way of where you use the wifi?" "yes" "well there's the issue!" SHOCKING!

Customer Service is not bad it's none excistant!!!
Do EE ever read their reviews??
My latest experience was talking to the complaints dept. from one of their shops and the person I'm talking to kept complaining to me that he could not hear me
I told him the phone was the EE store phone but that didn't mean anything to him.
On top of that their land line?????phone kept turning its self off!
The rude and unapologetic sales man just wanted me gone so they could play with their toys , physical ones, with their mobiles.
RUDE. RUDE people who would not last 5 mins with their attitudes and product in USA.

I read all the terrible reviews for EE but in reality this couldn't be further from the truth for me!
Switched to EE from BT about 18 months ago for a cheaper deal, since then the connection has been rock solid. Never dropped once. Did have some issues when using the Brightbox router, but once I binned that it was all resolved!
From the get go we were getting about 3MB speeds, but after some investigation of my own, I realised there was a fault in one of our microfilters, once this was solved the speeds tripled instantly!
In the interest of fairness, their customer service isn't the best, passed from pillar to post sometimes. Was intending to leave to get a cheaper deal on Fibre as exchange has recently been enabled, and the retentions department managed to mess up our upgrade, resulting in about a months wait to be installed!!
All in all, I would recommend EE, provided you bin the rubbish router they give you!!

Had EE fibre broadband since March 15, was a nightmare getting connected and being past from pillar to post when speaking with customer services.
It was finally connected and it's soooo slow! Constantly cuts you off, you can't seem to have more than 1 person online at once or it just leaves you at a stand still. Not easy with a 13 year old who loves gaming!
We persevered this long and have now decided to change suppliers..
Can get much better service and connection elsewhere for the same price of not cheaper.

The worst company which I ever dealt with. If you have a problem you need calling, calling and calling..., than asking, asking and asking...., than begging, begging, begging.... and finally you have got NOTHING. Overall: EE service is below ANY standards.

I have been very impressed by the product offered. The speed is above average compared to last provider. Customer service has been first class and I find it very difficult to find fault.

I recently changed service provider (from EE to Plusnet) - not entirely hassle free as I expected it should be.
The changeover date was set to be the 25th of October 2016 and this duly happened with my phone, but not broadband, which was re-instated on the 27th. Nothing too stressful so far, but then I received an email stating that my phone services were to cease on the 18th of November even though the changeover had already taken place. I phoned and was told that EE placed a 14 day extension on my account after being notified of actual transfer having taken place.
I phoned them and the matter was resolved to some satisfaction after being told that a new bill for the month in question was not being raised. No mention of part month which I feel I am owed.
However, I do feel this 14 day add-on is ridiculous and my main reason for writing this is to warn others and for them to check if this has been applied to them.

Further to my recent review of my exit from EE and transfer to Plusnet, I feel it is only fair to add that I have received a final bill showing an overpayment. This amount is to be credited to my bank account.
I therefore upgraded my overall satisfaction score.

NEVER ever trust EE. The closed my account for no reason and I have had to open a new account. They did not inform me that my account was closed. The service was dreadful to say the least. I have had to buy a dongle which they tried to charge me for and a new router which I have to pay the delivery charges. DO NOT EVER USE EE. They are the worst. Believe me. They will lie and cheat anything to get the extra pound.

I am struggling to find polite words to describe HOW BAD ee's broadband is. The worst possible language wouldn't do it justice. This is a Scam company. This is a Scam broadband service and their "customer service" is a bunch of liars. HALF THE TIME YOU CAN'T USE IT BECAUSE IT DOWNLOADS SO SO SO SO SLOW!!!I will make it simple DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY if you want good broadband.!!!!! I am not exaggerating!!!!

I am still waiting for my broadband connection after 10 days.
Calling EE is a nightmare, if they do not know how to help you, they cut you off or keep you on hold indefinately. Been promised to be connected several times but nothing happens. Give EE a wide berth, they are less than useless

Have been with orange/EE for 11 years, broadband very good and when we have had problems EE has sorted it, and the problem was always a BT problem nothing to do with EE, just signed up for fibre with them at a great price due to loyalty bonus.

Rock solid with exceptional speed and stability. Way out in the sticks but get a ping of 16ms, down and up speeds of 37Mbps and 7Mbps respectively. Have had no need to contact customer services hence not scored. The install was problem free and prompt.

Switched from BT broadband to EE Fibre broadband, the main requirement was to get an improved call package as many of the people we call are on mobiles so was spending about £18 pm just on mobile calls. Any improvement in broadband speed (5Mbps) was a plus. Was very doubtful about the self install feature and wondered if the promise of a refund for my BT termination costs were too good to be true. Anyway, signed up, Brightbox 2 router arrived, waited for a text from EE to say when to plug it all in (no BT Openreach engineer visit). Did that, and it worked seamlessly and without a hiccup. Speed and reliability exceeded expectations - we live half way up a mountain in a house with walls over 3ft thick and it is a steady 37Mbps down, 6.5Mbps up and a ping of 17ms. Have had no need to contact help desk, so could not score. Had email yesterday from EE to confirm refund of £56.90 for my early termination costs. Very satisfied.

Everything excellent, service, speed, connection in all rooms etc etc.. My only comment is I pay £28.50 Fibre plus broadband..at end of contract it goes up to £44.50
Cheaper price only for new customers, however at least they told me about price hike unlike previous company 'Sky' who just billed at higher rate without warnings..

4 stars because Toni at EE was genuinely trying to help. Unfortunately, her determination was not matched by the service. If the broadband connection lasts more than an hour, it must be while I'm asleep or not looking. Changing to another supplier and it really cannot happen soon enough. If you are thinking about moving to EE...don't

I was offered the home broadband and tv package switching from Sky to EE. Well the activation date was supposed to be 1 week ago. All they managed to do was switch off my previous broadband and phone line and tell me my order had been cancelled with no explanation. I then get a new activation date for 2 weeks later and they then contact me one week later telling me that the order was unsuccesful. Have spoken to at least 10 people trying to sort it out but its not worth the hassle I have given up, cancelled the order and will now be getting BT.

Switched from Sky. Worst mistake I ever made. Horrible customer service. Tried contacting them regarding poor internet speed (could not even open a browser window-much less video call family abroad). Never solved the issue. Insulted and verbally abused by them. They wouldn´t let me cancel. Kept transfering me to tech service. Finally paid early cancellation penalty and back to sky. Should have never left Sky.

this is going to be long.
from the begin there was a problem with the speed, however i have been informed it is going to take up to 10 days to set. after 10 days obviously went only worse. this is when i was no longer entitled to leave without cancellation fee. what i am currently pay is super fibre up to 80meg, with min of 38. ON THE CABLE my spped after 5-11pm is from 2-6 MEG!!! i was phoning them almost every single day for over 3 weeks, every day spoken to someone else telling the story from the begin. so far i had 2 engeneers (which obviously did not manage to do a thing) the conversation started with a manager im on the line with him for over a month now i have raised the complaint which is obviously still open they was trying to convince me to close the complain so they will take a money off my bill(lol) i sent several screenshoot of the spped test to prove them cuz obviously from their side av 80meg(lol). the issue all of the sudden has been fixed for 2 weeks, and dropped again few days ago so the ballte have started all over again, they are very surprised that i want to leave. i made again a screenshot being on the phone with the manager and apparently he did not receive it. i have been accused(they think that may be it) of using VPN on my PC(whatever it call) i have also made a VIDEO to show the way i am changin the cable to the laptop and running speed test but i am just waitng for the call back with the idea how to send it over to them.. IN WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE!!!!

Avoid by all cost moved from talk talk to EE after they phoned me and convinced me they had a better speed than talk talk this was going to cost me an extra 12 pound a month. At Christmas I got my kid ps4 who likes to play online and watch Netflix , I only have two devices connected to wireless so when my kid told me he was losing his online connection whilst playing and watching Netflix I called EE customer service trying to explain I wasn't happy the agent decided she wasn't going to let me finish my complaint and talked over me and tried to get me to take the new fibre contract at this time I asked to speak to a supervisor which I did she went on to tell me the 28pound service I was paying for would not support my kid playing online with ps4 or watching Netflix, I was totally flabbergasted by this statement so basically she was saying the service they provided was pish and not fit for anything apart from looking at pages online ,disgusting lying waste of space , avoid avoid avoid
