If it was possible to give zero stars I would. We only got it because a flatmate got "a great deal" on it. All I can say is you get what you pay for. The speed was utterly cr@p and this was when you were lucky enough to actually get signal. If you are in uni and needing the Internet a lot, DO NOT GO WITH EE. In fact even if you aren't in uni I wouldn't bother. Total waste of money and customer service were no help either. |

I have been a customer of T mobile for many years; I have two mobile lines with them. I'm due to move from my house to new address, and EE offered me a broadband and landline package. I had very bad experience with the customer service when i phoned them yesterday to enquire about my new order which suppose to start in 8 days time; they bounced me from one person to another five times and kept me on telephone line for 65 minutes to reach to a very rude woman in the broadband department; she even hanged up on me while I was talking to hear. |

Biggest mistake ever. Had perfectly good service with SKY (no problems in 2 years)and stupidly swapped to EE to save seventy quid a year. Speed is very variable and the brightbox needs reset very regularly. Biggest issue though is continually losing WiFi and having to phone India to get it fixed, which is painful. Tech people are HORRENDOUS. No British equivalent for problems at all. Also they restrict downloads for most of the day, everyday. Now I am going to have to pay to get out the contract, I cannot put up with it any longer. Worst broadbrand provider Iv had in 15 years...... |

When moved from BT to EE (worst mistake ever made) problems since day one of order. Product misold to me and they didn't even acknowledge it until after the product was "live". ONce contract was finished, called to cancel my phone and broadband and was told there would be a £30 charge to "remove tags from my line" which there were none as i have now switched back to BT without a MAC code as no tags are present. Broadband speeds were terrible, cant even watch youtube clips without buffering. and i live less than 200 metres formt he exchange where i should be gettign the max speed (According to them). numerous phone calls just to be told that my speed was in the acceptable range and they cant do anything. Staff don't know what they are doing. |

After many years of having no landline broadband in the area that we live, our address has finally been connected. We now have a contract with EE. The process was very painful to switch both the phone and internet but when it was finally sorted we have fantastic broadband. We have come into the 21st century and can get all those normal things like youtube and Facebook!! |

My fiancé and I were tempted into getting EE broadband by an attractive upfront line rental and then £2.50/mo afterwards for broadband for a year. We set it all up without any problems. The following March (our contract was due to finish in June) they called me to offer to continue that deal for another year. Well as far as I was concerned, that meant another year of £2.50 a month which sounded great. After speaking to them, I changed my mind and decided that I shouldn't really be agreeing to year long contracts over the phone. I called them back about 20min later and they said that contractually I couldn't cancel without paying the full year cost upfront. Ridiculous but fine. My fault. They then started refunding us a random amount of money each month starting from March. I know, great right? But it made no sense and at no point were we sent any documents explaining why this was happening. In June, suddenly our broadband bill was £17/mo. |

Absolutely disappointing and robbery, I did a transfer of my ee broadband since 03/01/2020 since then today is 20/02/2020 my hub keep rebooting and not working, it turns on for 1 and 2 hours and then stop working for 5 hours and more (no internet) I and my wife called several time to get somebody to fix the problem 3 times we didn’t got an engineer the 4th time we booked an engineer from 8 to 1 pm he came at 8am i was sleeping due after work I was so knackered i couldn’t hear the phone then I did it yesterday and was confirmed with text message yet nobody came it’s 12:50 pm, the think which making me crazy is that to get service it takes you ages and nothing is done but when is about payment we never delay them it easier for them to take money but not to do a good service, this February i was struggling with internet (ee broadband) it was sooooo bad suddenly I found a text message telling me that my bill is ready to pay it which is amount of £31.50 that so silly and not good for this brand at all and if you want to stop the contract they gonna 100% telling me you need to pay an amount bla bla ..... I’m just tired pffffffff |

Never known such slow broadband. Sometimes impossible to even log-on. Dead slow download speeds averaging about 1.1-1.3 Mbps. Really bad. I thought it was a fault but reading other reviews I see it is typical of EE. And also the Tech Services department absolutely sucks!! This is a very bad company. Dishonest. |

If you want to spend your evenings talking to someone from India for an hour telling you they are sorry to hear your problems then EE Is for you. Speed is ridiculous, every month i am using 10Gig data from my phone because it is simply way faster than my wifi. They will send you a filter which will sort ALL your problems, then when that fails they will send you a router which will sort ALL your problems. In reality they can not sort nothing. Pathetic rip off. Waste of time and money. DONT BE A FOOL !!! |

Don't get EE broadband. I paid for the most expensive package and they are currently giving me below the standard package speeds. I was getting 74mps down speeds before now all of a sudden for the past 2 months i'm getting a download speed of less than 2mps and being charged for 76mps. |

I left Talk talk roughly 2 months ago to EE with the promise things will be better, but that was mistake, the internet is slow and disconnect it very often, the land-line is not clear, the customer service takes long to get them ,and once you contact technical department , they do their routine stuff that doesn't help that much. leaving them will make you pay 100 pounds for breaking contract. I would never recommend to anyone. Awful service. |

Like many others here I would advise to stay away from EE broadband. The router turned up a week late and then the 'acclimatise' period lasted for longer and didn't even make me aware of it to start with. After it taking a month to be installed and working (rather than the 10 days I was told) I didn't get anywhere near the speed quoted. I was told 13-17mbps and most of the time I struggled to get 1, couldn't even load a web page with more than one device on it! Had enough and left, after fighting with them on the phone at least I did get them to cancel the early cancellation fee. |

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I had my broadband cut off without any warning and although they admitted it was their fault they did very little to make this better for me. I was constantly lied to about when the service would be working again and numerous times I was told I would get a call back that never came. I would avoid this company at all costs. Much better providers out there. |

I changed from PlusNet to EE in June via Money Saving Expert (MSE) website to save money & the promise of a £120 Amazon voucher after 3 months. After providing the MAC code, changeover went smoothly for both Broadband & landline on the dates agreed. After the usual initial 5-7 days, broadband speed was same as PlusNet (which was same as BT which I had before that)- about 14-17Mb d/l + 1Mb u/l. EE has more bandwidth restrictions than PlusNet, so if you torrent, its after 1am for you! |

I have been with EE for two years. At first it took them 3 month to install my line and actually got the broadband. When I moved Home I asked them to move my broadband, they told me it would take three weeks. On the day I was supposed to have an active line nothing came up. Ring them, after two days on the phone they told me they moved it to the wrong address (and some poor people lost their connection in the process). They offered me a month free and told me it would be up in two more weeks... I made the mistake of accepting. A week later they come back at me telling me they needed to restart the process and that the line would me operation in an addition 4 four weeks... In the mean time they offered a 3G dongle as a "solution", turn out to be a pay as you go one for which I actually have to pay. I finally resign my contract with them. |

Been with EE from the Freeserve,Wanadoo,Orange days.Never had a problem with my service from day 1.Just upgraded to EE fibre 38mb. got a free router, delivery and connection with 1500 free minutes to mobiles and 01,02,03 numbers and it is costing me £9.50 a month LESS than I was paying for the up to 20mb package. EE rang me out of the blue and offered me this new package and the guy on the phone could not have been more polite and helpful. Everything he said would happen did happen. I just replaced my router with the new brightbox 2 and was instantly back on line with no problems. Consistant speed,no dropouts it is spot on. From the way my upgrade was handled I cannot praise EE enough. |

My friend suggested EE I said why not this was the biggest mistake!!! It took 3 weeks for engineer to come around to reactivate the landline than we have waited another 2 weeks for the rooter to arrive being honest we are still waiting!!! How they expect people to live without internet. EE if you can’t keep up with the demand DO NOT take any more orders!!! Disappointed |

I moved houses and my new address came with a broadband provided in my rent. As a result I called to cancel my EE broadband contract. I was told I need to give 2 weeks notice so I will be charged for a week of August as I called them too late. Instead I got charged for a whole month of August. I called and was told I will get a refund. First day of September I called to check whether the refund is going to be in my account soon. I was told it will be once, the new bill is produced. Instead, I was also billed for another month , I called again, I was advised to cancel my direct debit to avoid being charged. We are in October and I just received a bill for October and being told I need to pay a late payment fee as well due to cancelling my direct debit and failing to pay for September. I called them the fifth time today and was told my refund won't be happening until December. It's a joke if you ask me. Wouldn't recommend. |

We have been using EE for more than a year and honestly I have always received quite good services from them. I'm surprised to see so many complaints as because I have none of them. Good speed, no network problem, well I'm satisfied. My company uses this broadband as well. My company requires an all time stable connection as we have to do a lot of research on properties, buyers, sellers and market. We need more of everything and EE provides it all for us. My company recommends it to other as well. Thank you EE! |

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Everything is slow with EE broadband. We never have gotten a steady speed all year and rarely get past 1mb of upload speed. But aye didn't realise they used phone cable from BT Open Reach. |

Terrible terrible broadband. I would only wish this on my worst enemy. Without comparison the worst broadband that I have ever had. This is not the deal that I was promised when I left Sky. A pack of lies. Too slow to do anything with. EE is one rip off company. Forget customer services...they are trained to lie to you. |

EE 4g is fine when it is working, however if you have a problem because your internet fails as mine did during an upgrade, you then cannot get through to the right people as they are an internet service and if you call you need details that you cannot find as they are stored on the internet that you cannot access. Eventually you discover that you have to send away your box and await a repair, which means over 2 weeks without internet! |

not happy with EE at all, started off at 1mb/sec and its got worse over 6 months and down to 0.01 mb/sec might as well just have dial-up!its like being back in the 90's. |

Customer service is always helpful even though i think sometimes they are a bit overwhelmed with complaints. Most of them sound Scottish. So i have to really listen to understand some of their words. Heck they probably do the same with my New Yorker accent. |

Really not happy with speed, been with Virgin, BT, Sky, Talk Talk and nothing like this. If I want faster apparently I need to upgrade! Was fine for the first month then got slower and slower and if I have a friend round, it's impossible to connect!!! |
