BT Homehub

Hi, just a quick question - I will be changing to BT in September.
The package comes with a HomeHub, great but I already have a good wireless system.
Does BT Broadband only work with the supplied HomeHub or can I use my own perfectly well working system?
I have a Linksys set-up (N technology).
