Question Network connection for 3 dongle

My Network Connections show my mobile broadband modem as a dial-up connector. Why is this?
Shouldn't it be in the LAN or High Speed Inernet section?

shouldn't matter too much as long as you get the full connection speed.. does your speed get up to what you would expect?

I also have it do this on my computer, it runs at full whack though so I'm not complaining!

Only Microsoft sites do this , everything else works.

MY PROBLEM SOLVED !!

While I was installing the dongle first time I had switched off my firewall and anti-virus, then forgot to turn them back on. I was caught with my defences down and got hit by a worm which seems to hate microsoft.

Worm removed..... problem solved
