Default set up

About to set up Broadband for first time. However I have a double phone socket, one is currently for the phone and the other the computer. Does this complicate it?

It shouldn't complicate it too much.. first unplug your double adapter, then plug your microfilter in, Your microfilter will have a socket for the phone and a socket for your broadband modem/router.

Broadband modem/routers don't use the standard phone plug like old style dial up modems do.

If its a double wall socket then what you need to do is plug the microfilter into one of the sockets then plug the phone into the relevant socket on the filter and the router into the filter in the relavent socket for it.

Your second socket will be redundant, but it won't affect your phone or broadband.

I hope this helps
