I am only wishing to move due to costings, as although BE's service is great, they are no longer the cheapest out there. Also if anyone else wishes to offer me any other alternatives I would be grateful. I need at least 8 meg speeds and unlimited bandwidth, Tesco's appear to have this for £8 a month - ONLY available however if you let them take control of your home phone line rental and charges. As I am already with Primus Saver and i dont really wish to leave them are there any other ISP's out there that I'm not aware of that will give me what I need?.
Thanks for reading.

Be aware that most budget ISPs offering 'unlimited' usage often have a 'fair usage' policy of lower many 'limited' ISPs higher allowance deals. It's not uncommon for the highest usage cap to be somewhere around 40 to 60GB. The most notorious example would be O2 Access (the deal offered if your exchange is not covered by O2's LLU equipment) that for several months had a headline allowance of 'unlimited' but a fair usage policy of 20GB!
There really isn't any such thing as unlimited broadband, just suppliers who tell you what their usage cap is up front, and those who hide it behind 'unlimited' (with the caveat that some 'unlimited' ISPs will warn you for the first month or two you break the secret usage limit).
As a general rule you need to think: responsive, high usage, cheap; choose two. Things are confused a little by differing ISP's LLU or cable/fibre technologies, but in your case that makes things even worse, BE/O2 have the best LLU network, so you're going to see a reduction of quality whoever you switch to. If you really want to keep the same speed for less cost, switch to O2, but be aware that they have some serious traffic management in place on all their deals - that's the price you pay for paying less for the same LLU network as BE.
Also, have you considered making savings by simply moving your phone and line rental over to BE? They've introduced phone and line rental to their service in the last few months. Probably not going to be much of a saving over Primus though...
