Question Provider recommendations

Have read a lot of negative comments about ISPs on this & other boards, but not much positive.

Have recently signed up with Talk Talk, but so far things are not looking good and I'm thinking of getting out before the 30 days cooling-off period ends.

Can anyone out there recommend a GOOD provider for home broadband - not so concerned about cost, but I need something that can be installed QUICKLY (preferably within 24 hours), which WORKS, and which has GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Would be really, really grateful for any advice.

Wink Re: Provider recommendations

Hi, My provider is not cheep, is usually very good - I have no hastles. If I have a problem I have to ring during normal office hours - but I get a human in the UK who knows what they are talking about. So the fact that they are over priced and do not claim to give high speeds is just what I put up with - I do not know anybody that gets 8mb - I get just over 1 on a good day - so if you put up with that lot then I suggest you try Zetnet - originally based in the shetlands - but I think are now in Manchester. Every time I think they are charging me too much I read through all the complaints other people have about providers - I run a wireless network with 4 laptops on their home 500 service and my daughter watches movies - I am on it all the time - no limits just costs me £22.99 a month - ouch!

try zetnet.com

I get no discount or anything by suggesting them - they just take too much money off me
