Default HELP: Encouraging LLU!!!

I've just found out that my exchange is not local loop unbundled for any operators

It services 3700 residential homes and is only 5 miles from the centre of Milton Keynes - so not really out in the sticks

This means everyone of those 3700 homes is now sharing the same DSL pipe with a maximum attainable of 4.5mbps (max you get is about 2mbps)

With the rise of iPlayer and other such streaming amongst the general populace, my peak speed has dropped to 130kbps. This means I can't even browse the internet - let alone iplayer, gaming, youtube or anything useful!!!!!!!!

There are probably 3700 households getting mighty peeved, generating a lot of customer service calls and experiencing a terrible service with no knowledge of why and no solution from ISPs

So does anybody know any way to ensourage LLU - either with BT or an ISP? Or any other creative solutions or ways to progress

Much appreciated.
