Question Can you have two devices on one dongle?

I am planning on getting mobile broadband in my new house, but me and my partner use a lot of hours and dont want to pay over the odds for non inclusive mintues from the packages iIve seen. Also, I will be on my laptop and he will be on his PS3. Can we both access the internet via one USB dongle?

All advice is welcome!

Thanks.

Yes you can using the Laptop as the "master" internet device.
if you use MOBILE internet then you will easily go over your free time if you connect the ps3 through your laptop using internet sharing (see windows help files for instructions on setting up). It will also be slow as itis not designed for gaming traffic. The cost of adsl is cheeper than mobile broadband and better for gaming so do the Math, ditch mobile broadband, get phone line adsl ( look at plus.net packages or sky if you have sky subscription, also talktalk.
NEVER use mobile internet abroad unless you KNOW the costs involved..Be warned!

If you need mobile broadband then consider Vodaphone. Not a lot of people know this but if you have a contract witht them, mobile broadband is £7 a month with 5GB included. Half the cost of orange, better coverage as well.
