still only 8 meg yet...

i live in a rural area yet just 20 miles away people have had fiber optic cable for at least 15 years...why the hell do i pay for 8 meg when 20 miles away people are paying the same price for 20+ meg and now i hear about 50 meg...so when the hell do i get that majikcable and why has it taken so long to come out this way?...who can i ask?and why should i have to move to a city to get what i want?...its all rediculous to me that these companies can get away with so many issues with feeble excuses.
sorry rant over but i have been waiting a long time and no longer have the patients to just sit back and watch as people as close as 8 miles away can have cable yet those of us who live in this town get boned over mobile signal/broadband speed/and various other things yet we use and pay the same for what everyone else does but we get less for our money
