Default BT broadband issue

Benn having major issues with my BT bb for some months now which despite numerous calls and engineer visits new filters a new hub new main socket seem to be getting worse not better. To cut a long story short my 8mg. When i use BT`s own speed tester the below is the information I get. Is there anything there I can use in my battle for faster net?

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 2784 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 250 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 221 kbps



connection is currently achieving a dl speed of 250k ish

Please help.

Default r.e xbox without phone line

i want to go live with x box but phone line to dear to get can i use something else

Assuming there's reception in your area, you could connect your XBox with Mobile Broadband, but I'd strongly recommend using a fixed line solution for gaming as mobile connections have high latency producing long ping times and a poor gaming experience.
