The Tamworth exchange is scheduled to be upgraded to BT Fibre to the Cabinet in September 2010.

The broadband.co.uk checker is now FttC enabled and should give you FttC speeds and BT Infinity deals if both your exchange and street cabinet are FttC enabled:

Compare Broadband In Your Area

You can also try signing up for a BT Infinity deal to get BT's own estimate of your speeds and when your line will be FttC enabled:

BT Total Broadband BT Infinity Broadband and Calls

Hope this helps.
