Yeah, mainly good, had some reception problems out in the middle of nowhere but so far have been really happy using them in central London. Bought the E169 modem from the 3 mobile broadband store and it's brilliant when working at full speed.

Do not choose 3 Mobile Broadband. No matter how basic your internet usage, you will still sorely regret it when you watch it time out failing to load Google or send a one-line email over and over again.

It's not just a speed or bandwidth issue, it's the basic reliability of the connection, which fails at least 40-50 percent of the time, even when just trying to do very basic web and email. And I used it in central London; the one time I tried it outside London, still in South East England, it didn't even nearly connect.

To top it off, 3 mobile broadband take an 'offence is the best form of defence' approach to customer services and when cancelling they became rather aggressive when I tried to tell them how poor the connection was, pretty much telling me I must be lying. Which I wasn't. There are loads of ways to get online now, even without a landline - even if 3 are a bit cheaper, it's an utterly false economy. It's not 'broadband', it's not even as good as dial-up.
